Jesse Winker, Olympia (Orlando, Fla.)Winker hit .488 as a senior for Olympia, a team that was No. 1 in the Xcellent 25 deep into May while riding a 29-game winning streak. He was a MaxPreps All-American and was part of our 2012 Top 100, scoring 34 runs and knocking in 30.
Now Winker is an outfielder with the AA Pensacola Blue Wahoos in the Cincinnati Reds organization. The No. 49 overall draft pick in 2012 was the Reds' Minor League Hitter of the Year and is currently acclimating to AA after tearing it up at single-A Bakersfield earlier this season.
