D.J. Peterson, Gilbert (Ariz.)Peterson smashed his way to a .462 average and nine homers during his senior season, 2010. He also added 33 RBIs and 12 doubles to help Gilbert go 24-9.
Peterson was drafted in the 33rd round by the Mariners in 2010 but chose to play at the University of New Mexico. He was drafted 12th overall in 2013 by the Mariners and now plays for the AA Jackson Generals. He's hitting .319 this year between two stops with 21 homers and 80 RBIs.
