Henry Owens, Edison (Huntington Beach, Calif.)The only season MaxPreps has stats for Owens was a dominant one. As a sophomore in 2009, he went 9-1 with a 0.98 ERA in 71 2/3 innings. He was a MaxPreps All-American his senior season and was named the MaxPreps California Player of the Year.
The Boston Red Sox took him in the first round in 2011 (36th overall) and he's 12-3 this season with the AA Portland Sea Dogs with a 2.21 ERA and 111 strikeouts in 105 2/3 innings.
