The Foothill Trojans won the last time they faced the Golden Valley Bulldogs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Foothill walked away with a 43-36 victory over Golden Valley.
Foothill had a senior duo take command as Tiara Jackson scored 13 points along with two blocks and Janay Fuentes scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryana Montoya, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Foothill's victory bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Golden Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 10-17.
Foothill will head out on the road to face off against Mira Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill is facing Mira Monte at the right time seeing as Mira Monte is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. Golden Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
