The Big Bear Bears won the last time they faced the Silver Valley Trojans, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Big Bear took down Silver Valley 34-18.
Big Bear found their leader in underclassman Jasmin Gallegos, who scored 15 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Gallegos has scored at least 25% of Big Bear's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Schweitzer, who scored 6 points.
Sydney Trotter and Serwaah Sarpong certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Trotter scored 12 points, while Sarpong scored 6 points.
The victory got Big Bear back to even at 2-2. As for Silver Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Big Bear will head out on the road to face off against Excelsior Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Silver Valley, they will be playing at home against Apple Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
