They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the JW North Huskies. Winning may never get old, but the Hawks sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
The team relied heavily on Riley Corlew, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Zamora, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Citrus Hill's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for JW North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Citrus Hill has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Tahquitz on the 5th. As for JW North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-8 tie against Jurupa Valley on the 4th.
