The Jefferson-Morgan Rockets lost against the Frazier Commodores back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Jefferson-Morgan took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Frazier. Jefferson-Morgan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Frazier found their leader in underclassman Allie Yauch, who scored 22 points along with five steals. Taryn Bateman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Jefferson-Morgan bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.4 points per game. As for Frazier, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Jefferson-Morgan will face off against Brownsville at TBD on Thursday. Brownsville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jefferson-Morgan in Pennsylvania (Brownsville is ranked 124th, while Jefferson-Morgan is ranked 448th). Frazier's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bethlehem Center at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th.
