De La Salle (Concord, Calif.) had one of the best defenses in high school football in 2016 — largely thanks to the play of 4-star recruits
Boss Tagaloa and
Devin Asiasi.
Both players will be announcing their college decisions live on MaxPreps at noon Pacific Time on Signing Day, Feb. 3.
Asiasi, who will likely play tight end in college despite his defensive ability, is 6-foot-3, 270 pounds. He's rated as the No. 3 tight end in the country
according to 247Sports.
Tagaloa is a 6-foot-3, 295-pound defensive tackle, ranked No. 13 in the country at his position
by 247Sports. He's likely to choose between UCLA, Washington, Michigan and USC.
