Baseball Recap: Los Angeles CES Find Success

The Los Angeles CES Unicorns beat the St. Monica Mariners 7-4 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Unicorns.

Ezra Fife was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Los Angeles CES' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-8 when he doesn't). Cai Bloom-Furedi was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Los Angeles CES' win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for St. Monica, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Angeles CES will face off against University at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Monica, they will square off against North at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
