After losing to the Lower Lake Trojans the last time they met, the St. Bernard's Crusaders decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. St. Bernard's simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lower Lake 51-21 on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 27-4.
Among those leading the charge was Laila Florvilus, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Sundberg, who scored 9 points.
The win makes it two in a row for St. Bernard's and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Lower Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
St. Bernard's will head out on the road to face off against Mt. Shasta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lower Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cloverdale at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
