Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Penn Hills Indians. One positive for the River Hawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Armstrong's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Penn Hills, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Armstrong will take on Altoona in a tournament on December 27th. As for Penn Hills, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bethel Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
