The Esko Eskomos put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They breezed by Pine City at home to the tune of 61-0. Fans of Esko have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Esko's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0. As for Pine City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-8.
Esko will be playing in front of their home fans against Pierz at 2:00 p.m. on October 28th. Pierz will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Esko is ranked 15th). Pine City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
