The Nevada Union Miners entered their tilt with the Stevenson Pirates with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Nevada Union came out on top against Stevenson by a score of 37-30 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Nevada Union also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.
Nevada Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Katie Enos, who scored 10 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Enos has scored at least 25% of Nevada Union's points. Ari King was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Nevada Union now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Stevenson, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Nevada Union will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully El Dorado focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Stevenson, they will head out on the road to face off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
