Another player making a difference was Amaya Tavu, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, the matchup between St. Joseph Notre Dame and Piedmont on Friday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. St. Joseph Notre Dame was beaten by Piedmont 72-33. St. Joseph Notre Dame has not had much luck with Piedmont recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Lick-Wilmerding's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for St. Joseph Notre Dame, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
