The St. Lucy's Regents just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Santa Ana Valley Falcons  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.  St. Lucy's win  on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Kira Carroll, who  posted two  points and six  steals. Carroll is  on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed three or more in the last seven games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kate Campbell, who  earned six points and four  steals.
Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley had to suffer through a   60-9 loss at the hands of Villa Park. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 753rd, while the Spartans are ranked 12th).
 Maria Guadalupe Aburto was Santa Ana Valley's leading scorer, having posted three points.
