Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Patterson). They strolled past the Tracy Bulldogs with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 53-35. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Patterson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kailani Ortiz, who went 6 of 15 en route to 19 points and five steals. Ortiz continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyse Lomeli, who almost dropped a double-double on nine rebounds and ten steals.

Patterson pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Tracy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Patterson will take on Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Patterson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tracy, they will venture away from home to square off against Merced at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
