The Hoopa Valley Warriors can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They breezed by South Fork on the road to the tune of 79-22. The victory was some much needed relief for Hoopa Valley as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Hoopa Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tashee Tracy led the charge by dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. Tracy continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Maggie Morris was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Hoopa Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for South Fork, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoopa Valley will take on Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ferndale is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. As for South Fork, they will play host again and welcome St. Bernard's, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. St. Bernard's is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
