Deerfield-Windsor had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Fullington Academy on Friday. The Knights never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Lan Wiggins, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of David Hutchins, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Deerfield-Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Fullington Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deerfield-Windsor will face off against Tiftarea Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fullington Academy, they will head out to take on Grace Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
