HUTCHINSON, Minn. -
Hutchinson (Minn.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 14 fourth quarter points to seal the 35-9 victory over
Delano (Minn.).
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the second quarter, the Tigers were up 21-7 at the half.
Hutchinson saw its 14-point halftime lead decrease to 12 entering the fourth.
The loss snapped Delano's five-game winning streak.
Delano's lone touchdown came on a 35-yard run by
Toby Hanson in the first quarter.
The Tigers came in giving up 14.3 points per game this season. HHS went into the matchup giving up only 10.1 points per game.
The loss comes after Delano defeated Cloquet 61-33 last week.
