The Chaparral Bobcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Lake Belton 85-68 on Friday. The victory was just what Chaparral needed coming off of a 61-35 loss in their prior game.
Demarko Williams was his usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was CJ Norwood, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and three steals.
The win got Chaparral back to even at 14-14. As for Lake Belton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
Chaparral will be playing in front of their home fans against Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belton is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Lake Belton, they will head out on the road to face off against Shoemaker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Shoemaker's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Lake Belton has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
