Buchanan came out on top against New Buffalo on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Bucks took their matchup against the Bison 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Bucks in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won six in a row.

Ari Johnson was excellent, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last ten contests. Another player making a difference was Holden Carrington, who earned two runs and one stolen base.

Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 7-17-1. As for New Buffalo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.
