Lanier County not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 22, 2024 (when they won 12-0). They blew past the Clinch County Panthers 9-1. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.
Shelby McKettrick made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. McKettrick was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brilee Burkhalter, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. EmLee Lowery was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
