The Prospect Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Hill Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Prospect has three straight wins, Hill has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Prospect barely beat Gilroy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Prospect was the clear victor by an 18-5 margin over Gilroy on Thursday. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jeremy Wang made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). What's more, he gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
