While Lincoln put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Bear River. The Fighting Zebras blew past the Bruins 11-0. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Zebras, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Landyn Plaut made a big impact no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted over his last 14 games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Cook, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Cuevas, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lincoln always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Bear River, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5.
