With a playoff win on the line, Osakis rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Royalton Royals 30-8. The result was nothing new for the Silverstreaks, who have now won five contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Osakis pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.5 points on average over those games. As for Royalton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Osakis will square off against Pillager on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Silverstreaks 14.4, the Huskies 11.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Royalton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
