If Hillcrest was riding high  fresh off their  42-20 takedown of Cyprus on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies fell  35-28 to the Taylorsville Warriors on Friday.

 Despite the loss, Hillcrest still got an impressive performance from   K'Von Houston, who threw for 283 yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards and one  score. Houston has been hot recently, having  posted three or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played. 102 of  Houston's passing yards were hauled in by Miles Ence, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
  Khi Spight looked great while leading his team to the win,  rushing for 69 yards and three  TDs. Those  three  rushing touchdowns gave  him a new career-high.
Hillcrest has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record  this season. As for Taylorsville, their win  ended  a  six-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-7.
