They were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rangers earlier this season, when they won 5-1.
Monache saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Baxter, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Monache's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Redwood, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7.
