On Friday fans watched as two of the best teams in the nation hit the court. The DeMatha Stags fell 56-49 to the Bishop O'Connell Knights. The Stags' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why DeMatha lost, don't look at Kade Sebastian. Despite the final result, he went 5 of 6 en route to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamaal McKnight Jr., who posted nine points.

Bishop O'Connell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Justin Edwards out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Norton, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards.
