Roosevelt will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Des Moines East at 7:00 PM. If the contest is anything like the 41-37 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
Roosevelt came up short against Lincoln last Friday, falling 7-21.
Meanwhile, everything went Des Moines East's way against Des Moines North as the team secured a 44-0 victory.
Des Moines East's win lifted them to 1-1 while Roosevelt's loss dropped them down to 2-1. We'll find out if Des Moines East can add another positive mark to their record or if Roosevelt can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Des Moines East's step.
