The Northern Cambria Colts came into Monday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 50-46 victory over Ferndale on Monday. The victory was just what Northern Cambria needed coming off of a 73-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Ferndale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Abby Barley, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Geonna Riffle, who scored six points.
Northern Cambria's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12. As for Ferndale, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Northern Cambria will take on the Blue Jays at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferndale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
