In what's become a running theme this season, Imperial gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. Everything went their way against Holtville as Imperial made off with a 43-18 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Imperial has posted against Holtville since January 30, 2020.
It was another big night for Nayeli Cardona, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Imperial's points. Maddie Magdaleno was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, Beverly Hills ended up a good deal behind Torrey Pines on Saturday and lost 56-38. Beverly Hills has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Imperial's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Beverly Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
