Dunsmuir and Happy Camp are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2016, but not for long. The Dunsmuir Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Happy Camp Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dunsmuir is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Dunsmuir took a serious blow against Butte Valley, falling 53-23.
Cyla Clemens was Dunsmuir's leading scorer, having posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Happy Camp's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. The match between Happy Camp and Tulelake wasn't particularly close, with Happy Camp falling 43-26.
Dunsmuir's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Happy Camp, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Dunsmuir was able to grind out a solid victory over Happy Camp when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 34-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunsmuir since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
