The El Camino Colts lost against the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. El Camino fell 44-36 to Hillsdale. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for El Camino in their matchups with Hillsdale: they've now lost four in a row.
Mariah Flores and Basco Chelsea certainly did their best on Wednesday to try and avoid the loss. Flores scored 17 points, while Chelsea scored 13 points. Flores scored a full 47.2% of El Camino's points, the tenth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
El Camino has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Hillsdale, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino will take on Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hillsdale, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m.
