The Peebles Indians will take on the Eastern Eagles in a tournament on Tuesday. Peebles is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
Peebles took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Western get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. Peebles hasn't had any issues with Western recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Bo Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Peebles is 8-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other pitching news, Caleb Johnson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, Colyn Sims was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Braylen Stephens was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.
Peebles was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Western only posted a batting average of .059.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Eastern was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They lost 12-2 to Wellston.
Peebles' victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Eastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.
Peebles skirted past Eastern 5-4 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
