The Knights claimed a resounding 38-8 win over the Escalon Cougars for which the team can thank Sanders, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.
Despite the defeat, Escalon saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dylan Ball rushed for 104 yards on only nine carries.
