Make it nine blowout wins for the Corcoran Panthers this season. They breezed by Granite Hills on the road to the tune of 71-19 on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for Corcoran as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Corcoran to victory were Emilee Santos and Katalina Castillo. Santos scored 19 points along with two blocks, while Castillo scored 22 points along with six steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castillo has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jolie Rivera, who scored ten points.
Corcoran pushed their record up to 11-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.7 points. As for Granite Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
Coincidentally, Corcoran and the Grizzlies will both be playing the Cardinals the next time they take the court. Corcoran will host the Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
