After two games on the road, Notre Dame is heading back home. They will take on the King City Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Notre Dame beat Pajaro Valley 42-36.
Aveena Ducusin was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Aalyssah HuiHui-Martinez was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, King City took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 46-17 victory over Marina.
King City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malaya Carrillo, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Carrillo hasn't dropped below three steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amity Hearne, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds.
Notre Dame's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for King City, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.
Notre Dame and King City were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Notre Dame came up empty-handed after a 54-53 defeat.
