Sadly, the East Palo Alto Academy Bulldogs are still looking for their first win of the season after 12 matches. They were outmatched by Luis Valdez Leadership Academy at home and fell 45-6. East Palo Alto Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-2.
Luis Valdez Leadership Academy's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenia Reyes, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reyes has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Natalia Orozco, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.
East Palo Alto Academy's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
East Palo Alto Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
