South Ridge took down Chisholm 54-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kody Karppinen threw for 253 yards and 6 touchdowns and ran for 78 yards during the win.
North Woods led Big North (9 Man) in scoring this week by notching 57 points on Littlefork-Big Falls.
At the moment, the Panthers are in first, while Ely is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when South Ridge takes on the Timberwolves. Tom Spaniol's team has allowed 22 points this season, while Ely has given up 34. The Panthers allowed 14 points last week as they defeated the Bluestreaks.
The longest pass in the league this week came courtesy of South Ridge's Karppinen. The Panthers defeated Chisholm when he connected with Drew Janke on a 54-yard pass.
