The Eisenhower Eagles won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 70-37 loss at the hands of Summit. If Eisenhower was looking for revenge after losing 73-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Eisenhower's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mauriaja Johnson, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Camiya Horton, who scored 11 points.
Eisenhower has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Summit, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-10.
Eisenhower does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Summit will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rialto is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
