After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westlake, Newton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Rockdale County Bulldogs as the Newton Rams made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Rams have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Chris Guillory made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk).
