The Mira Loma Matadors lost against the Dixon Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mira Loma was outmatched by Dixon at home and fell 61-18. Mira Loma was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.
Despite the loss, Mira Loma had strong showings from Allison Canafe, who scored seven points along with eight steals, and Olivia Ulep, who scored four points. Canafe is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games she's played.
Audrey Graham continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dixon, scoring 14 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Graham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Emily Morris, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Mira Loma's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Dixon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-14.
Mira Loma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-21 defeat vs. Pioneer on the 8th. Dixon has also already played their next game, a 56-38 loss against Rio Linda on the 8th.
