Fort Bragg is a perfect 10-0 against Lower Lake since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Fort Bragg will challenge Lower Lake at 4:00 p.m. Fort Bragg will be strutting in after a victory while Lower Lake will be coming in after a loss.
Fort Bragg barely beat Upper Lake the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fort Bragg put the hurt on Upper Lake with a sharp 12-1 win on Friday. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Timberwolves this season.

Chris Hernandez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Fort Bragg let Dane Salo and Giancarlo Diaz run wild. Salo scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Diaz scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those three runs gave Salo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Fosse, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Fort Bragg was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .548. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Lower Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to The Bay School.
Lower Lake saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Hartman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. That run marked the first that Hartman scored this season.
Fort Bragg's record is now 7-1. As for Lower Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Lower Lake's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Fort Bragg hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .339. It's a different story for Lower Lake, though, as they've only averaged .144. Will they be able to contain Fort Bragg's hitters?
Everything went Fort Bragg's way against Lower Lake in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Fort Bragg made off with a 22-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fort Bragg since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
