Two of the top high school football teams in the nation will battle Friday when No. 13
American Heritage (Plantation, Fla.) makes the 15-mile trip to face No. 10
Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Fla.) on the NFHS Network.
The Broward County squads have squared off nine times since 2007 and American Heritage has won all of those meetings, including a 26-24 win early in the 2021 season.
Since that loss, Chaminade-Madonna has won 14 straight under
seventh-year head coach Dameon Jones. The Lions are coming off a running
clock victory over Northwestern (Miami) and all three of their wins this
year have come against teams ranked in our expanded top 100.
On the opposite sideline, the Patriots are also led by a pair of star wide receivers in five-star senior Ohio State commit
Brandon Inniss and freshman
Malachi Toney, who has already received offers from Miami, Penn State and Texas A&M.
Inniss and Toney each caught touchdowns while Ohio State commit
Mark Fletcher ran for over 200 yards in the Patriots' 56-27 win over then-No. 25 Los Alamitos early this season.
