Woodrow Wilson is 2-8 against Millikan since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bruins are taking a road trip to challenge the Rams at 3:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Woodrow Wilson 3.4, Millikan 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Woodrow Wilson had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Jordan on Wednesday. The Bruins never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Cooper George looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jax Core, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Parris, who went 1-for-2 with five RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Millikan came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Bears.
Thomas Ramsey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits.
At the plate, Adrian Ramirez was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Perez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Millikan pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Woodrow Wilson, their record now sits at 10-6.
Woodrow Wilson came up short against Millikan in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 4-1. Can the Bruins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
