Baseball Recap: Folsom Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Folsom Bulldogs didn't have quite enough to beat the Davis Sr. Blue Devils and fell 5-4.

Devin Schuster and Gavin Tietz stepped up to the plate in a big way. Schuster scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Tietz went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Tietz has posted since back in March of 2024.

Folsom's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Davis Sr., they pushed their record up to 3-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

While Folsom had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
