Vance Charter is 10-0 against the Pride since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Vance Charter Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Henderson Collegiate Pride at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vance Charter has six straight victories, the Pride have ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Vance Charter gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past Oxford Prep 55-32. Given Vance Charter's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Griffins are ranked 508th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-12, which was the final score in Henderson Collegiate's tilt against the Bobcats on Tuesday. Henderson Collegiate was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-5.
Vance Charter's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Henderson Collegiate, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
