The King Wolves will square off against the JW North Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
While King didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Jurupa Hills by a score of 8-4 on Monday.

Cory Lacher and Adan Diaz did most of the damage at the plate: Lacher went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI, while Diaz went 2-for-4 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave Diaz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Cantrell, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Meanwhile, JW North came up short against Patriot on Friday, falling 11-5. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
JW North saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Zamora, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those doubles were Zamora's first of the season.
JW North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
JW North's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: King has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.7 hits per game. It's a different story for JW North, though, as they've been averaging 11.9 hits. Given King's sizable advantage in that area, the Huskies will need to find a way to close that gap.
King got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against JW North by a conclusive 14-1 score. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
