The Dixon Rams waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mira Loma 59-30 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Dixon has posted against Mira Loma since February 11, 2020.
Mira Loma lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Miriam Arenal, who scored eight points. Arenal continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Dixon's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Mira Loma, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dixon will take on Rio Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Linda is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Mira Loma, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pioneer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pioneer is coming into the game hot, having won their last 16 games.
