They came out on top against Placer by a score of 49-42. Given Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Hillmen are ranked 385th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Maya Hodge was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points. She hasn't dropped below 15 points for 15 straight games. Kassidy Lowe was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Placer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-12.
